JP Morgan AM Names New Singapore, Southeast Asia CEO

Ebrahim, who will be based in Singapore, is currently a portfolio manager and co-head of the Asia-Pacific regional team within emerging markets and APAC equities (EMAP). Retaining his investment responsibilities, Ebrahim will be deepening client relationships and building on the firm’s strong growth momentum in Singapore and SEA. Currently a portfolio manager and co-head of the APAC regional team within the EMAP team, Ebrahim will report to Dan Watkins, APAC chief executive, and Anuj Arora, head of EMAP equities team, JP Morgan Asset Management

Ebrahim, who joined the firm in 2015, previously served in various leadership roles at Amundi, HSBC and Deutsche Bank.

“After over three years leading our Singapore and SEA business, Ms Ban has cultivated an exceptional team and established JPMAM as a trusted partner for our clients, contributing significantly to the firm’s success in the region. We look forward to continuing to partner with Sherene in her new capacity,” Watkins said.
